SHOCK PHOTOS & AUDIO: Angry man walking down Hytown street with gun in his hand…
HYANNIS – As you will see in the following HN Video, which contains Hyannis News reader photos, along with actual police radio transmissions, officers rushed to the Cumberland Farms on Barnstable Road at about 8:00AM this morning regarding reports of an agitated man with a gun in his hand, walking around a white pickup truck….
The first officers on scene confiscated an unloaded pellet gun after securing the situation. According to police sources, the man became angry after noticing someone had allegedly stolen an air compressor from his pickup truck. After noticing the theft, the man allegedly went into his truck and came out with a very realistic looking handgun (which turned out to be an actual pellet gun)… and then began walking around the area in an agitated state.
Needless to say, witnesses became very alarmed and called police.
Barnstable Police officers are investigating after confiscating the pellet handgun from the man. The man has not yet been publicly identified.
An offense report was taken by investigating officers… and no criminal charges are pending at the time of this report.
