SHOCK VIDEO: Strange man reportedly broke into and entered home during the overnight… confronted residents, “took all their credit cards…” refused to leave…
BARNSTABLE – As you will see and hear in the following HN Video, Barnstable Police rushed to an address on Scudder Lane early this morning for what was described as an “active B&E.”
According to police radio transmissions, people inside the home said a man went into their house, took all their credit cards, and was currently in their guest house refusing to leave…
Officers quickly converged on the large property but the man had fled.
A K-9 unit was called in from its home and did a search of the grounds.
About an hour into the call, as the K-9 unit was returning home, the K-9 officer and another patrolman encountered a shirtless male about two blocks away, further up on Scudder Lane.
The following HN Video highlights officers moments after they encountered the strange man.
The victims were driven by the detained suspect in two different police cruisers.
The suspect was arrested and transported back to BPD Headquarters for booking.
* All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law…
