About 5am, or sometime thereafter, a man showed at CCH with a woman who was already deceased…
The body was dropped off in the area of the emergency room entrance and the man quickly left the area driving what was described as a four door red sedan with, the color yellow on the license plate; it appeared to be from out-of-state, possibly New York or Pennsylvania…
The man was described as a black male with a thin beard…
A B.O.L.O. was put out to surrounding police agencies, as Barnstable Patrol Officers searched the back streets and neighborhoods with very little else to go on…
At about 7:30am, hours after the body was dropped off, HN was searching local neighborhoods, thinking the suspect likely had long ago left town, when all of sudden, Barnstable Police Sergeant John Alexander spotted a vehicle and suspect matching the description in the B.O.L.O…
HN was just blocks away and soon arrived at the Hess & Dunkin Donuts at the intersection of Route 28 and Bearses Way. HN cameras were rolling right after police encountered the man exiting the store about to get into his vehicle…

According to sources, the suspect originally tried to act like he had no idea what was going on… but soon admitted he was the one who dropped the deceased woman off.
The identity of woman has not been released. She was described as possibly being in her twenties and social media may have been used to identify who she was…

The suspect’s vehicle was treated as a crime scene. The tow truck driver was given rubber gloves before towing the red Hyundia Elantra back to police headquarters…

FYI: Livor mortis (lividity) is a settling of the blood in the lower portions of the body, causing a purplish red discoloration of the skin. When the heart stops functioning and is no longer agitating the blood, heavy red blood cells sink through the serum by action of gravity. Livor mortis starts between twenty minutes to three hours after death and is congealed in the capillaries in four to five hours. Maximum lividity occurs within 6–12 hours. Lividity is often used to estimate the time of death and whether or not a corpse has been moved…

UPDATE 2/22/15 @ 1:30pm: According to a BPD press statement, on Sunday February 22 2015 approximately 5:44am, Barnstable Patrol Officers responded to the Cape Cod Hospital regarding an unresponsive 22-year-old female who had been dropped off at the emergency room by an unknown male subject.
The female was determined to have no vitals and was declared deceased from an apparent overdose.
Upon further investigation it was determined that a red 4 door Hyundai Elantra with an out of state registration number was the vehicle used to transport the unresponsive female to the Cape Cod Hospital.
The vehicle description was broadcasted to all Barnstable Patrol Units as well as surrounding areas.
At approximately 0730 hours, Sgt Alexander observed a vehicle matching the vehicle in question traveling on Route 28 in Hyannis with a PA registration.
The vehicle was stopped…
The operator was identified as Clinton Brown, age31, of Boston.
Officers later determined that Clinton Brown’s right to operate was revoked in Massachusetts and was placed under arrest.
A search of his vehicle reveled approximately $6000.00 cash and approximately 1 pound of marijuana.
The investigation is still on going at this time.
Clinton Brown will be arraigned at Barnstable First District on Monday 2/23/2015 for the following offenses;
1) Operating with a revoked License
2) Possession of Class D with intent to Distribute
