HYANNIS – Crews were on scene battling a fire at the Yachtsman Condominiums at 500 Ocean Street around 8pm, Saturday evening. The response reportedly went to 3 alarms… and the scene was reported to be under control in under a half hours’ time.

UPDATE: One firefighter was transported to CCH for evaluation. The FF’s current condition is unknown at the time of this report. HN has reached to Hyannis FD for more details. The state’s Fire Marshal’s office was called to the scene to investigate. The brunt of the damage appears to have been mostly contained to unit 147, and possibly a neighboring unit, according to radio traffic.
