VIDEO: Nasty accident at South Street and High School Road… at least one to CCH…
HYANNIS – Barnstable Police are investigating a nasty traffic accident where two female drivers were hurt and needed medical attention.
Police and rescue responded this morning to an accident with possible injuries.
One driver needed to be carefully placed onto a stretcher and transported to CCH. The other driver was banged up and evaluated by rescue… but wasn’t transported to CCH.
The injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
The investigation is ongoing, but it’s possible the driver of the Range Rover was not able to see over the stuff piled up in her passenger seat…
High School Road and South Street is a dangerous intersection in the middle of a school zone. It is notorious for serious accidents, injuries, and fatalities…
