VIDEO: Police respond to Kennedy Compound for man claiming to be Homeland Security…
HYANNIS PORT – As you will hear in the following video, police responded to the intersection of Scudder Ave and Irving Ave to meet a Kennedy Compound security guard regarding a suspicious man who may have been trespassing and claiming to be “Homeland Security.”
The suspicious male was also allegedly poking around a church and possibly other private properties in the area of the Compound…
Police stopped a gray Ford Focus at the intersection of Scudder and Irving Ave, and spoke with a 50-year-old Dennis Port man named William.
William turned out NOT to be a member of Homeland Security.
According to police radio transmissions, which you will hear, the suspect has a history of Stalking, Assault & Battery, and Disorderly Conduct.
The individual was not charged with a crime today, but was issued a trespass warning from security. If he returns to the Kennedy Compound, or any of the other private properties in question, he will be subject to arrest.
HN NOTE: Over past and recent decades, the Kennedy family as been the target of disturbed individuals who sometime trespass and harass them. Instances of stalking, trespassing, and harassment are not taken lightly…
After carefully reviewing HN audio from the scene, some included in the following footage, the individual refers to the Kennedys specifically… that coupled with bizarre behavior will definitely draw the attention and concern of security personnel and police.
