VIDEO: Single car rollover into woods… Route 6, West Barnstable
WEST BARNSTABLE – As you will hear in the following video, a vehicle rolled over into the woods just up ahead of a Massachusetts State Trooper traveling on Route 6 early this morning…
At about 12:24AM, Mass State Troopers and West Barnstable Rescue rushed to the westbound median between Exits 6 and 5 on the Mid-Cape Highway.
A 22-year-old male driver was able to climb out of the vehicle. There were no other passengers.
The young man was hurt and visibly rattled…. and troopers managed to keep him calm and at ease before he was put onto a stretcher and transported to CCH. He was able to speak with first responders and answer their questions.
It appeared as though it was going to be difficult, however, to remove the full-size sedan from the densely wooded area due to a stump and branches… but as you will see, an experienced tow truck operator surprised any doubters by making relatively short work of it.
The following video highlights the crash scene and police audio…
