VIDEO: Woman hurt after crashing into utility pole… collision also damaged second vehicle…
BARNSTABLE – A woman was taken to CCH with facial and non life-threatening injuries after a utility pole was struck on Mary Dunn Road this afternoon at about 1:20PM.
A second vehicle containing a family of 5 struck the vehicle which ran into the pole. All five passengers declined medical treatment.
There was airbag deployment in both vehicles.
Traffic on Mary Dunn Road was completely shut down for a period of time as a Barnstable Police accident reconstruction expert investigated the scene.
Barnstable Police had to hire two police details to help with traffic while an Eversource crew repaired the pole which supported multiple major high tension electrical wires, along with other secondary wiring…
