VIOLENT DOMESTIC SCENE WAY OUT IN COTUIT: There was “a lot of blood” and a history of weapons… [HN Audio/Video]
But first… the top photo: One of last night’s overdose scenes where a good Samaritan noticed a man sticking a needle in his arm in front of the Mid-Cape Medical Center. The man quickly lost consciousness and police fortunately arrived in time to get some Narcan into his system. The good Samaritan’s call very likely saved the young man’s life!
HN NOTE: The following video highlights a violent domestic call all the way out in Cotuit last evening. Violent calls like the one you are about to hear are not unusual for police and firefighters in this region. The unusual aspect about this particular call was its location, which gave officers more than the normal amount of time to plan their approach. As you’ll hear in the audio, police officers were highly concerned about a report that there was “a lot of blood.” They also were concerned about knives and a historic degree of volatility…
At least one person was arrested for domestic violence charges. No further information, other than the following video, was available at the time of this report. But the video illustrates the extremes that police and firefighters experience on a daily basis.
