BEIJING — Video footage of man who broke into a zoo and wrestled a giant panda bear has gone viral.

The video shows a man sneaking up on Meiling, a 265 pound sleeping male panda.

The panda woke up and grabbed the man’s leg after he touched him on the head.

The following footage shows parts of a 5 minute wrestling match which ended with the man breaking free and escaping the bears enclosure.

The man did not appear to have been injured.

Panda keepers reportedly believed the bear was just playing with the man.
