*** WATCH *** 53-YEAR-OLD WOMAN AIRLIFTED AFTER SUFFERING POSSIBLE SKULL FRACTURE IN HARWICH CRASH
HARWICH, Massachusetts – A 53-year-old woman was airlifted to an off-Cape trauma center after suffering a possible skull fracture during a single vehicle crash in Harwich last evening, according to radio transmissions.
At around 7:22 p.m., Harwich police and firefighters responded to Queen Anne Road at Main Street for a car vs. utility pole. The sole occupant of the vehicle was entrapped. The pole was snapped. Once extricated, the woman was transported to the Cape Cod Gateway Airport in a Harwich FD ambulance. As you will hear in the following HN Video, the patient was flown to Tufts Medical Center.
The HPD is investigating the cause of the crash.
