WEST YARMOUTH – At around 2:00 a.m. Saturday morning – 11/19/2022 – police and firefighters responded to the intersection of Camp Street and Buck Island Road for a report of a single vehicle crash where the driver was unresponsive.

The first units on scene found a pickup truck crashed onto a traffic island. The driver was standing outside the vehicle speaking with police officers when HN arrived on scene. Damage to the pickup truck was minor.

The adult male driver attempted field sobriety tests prior to being placed under arrest. (The precise charge was unavailable at the time of this report.)
