*** WATCH *** FIRE GUTS HOME IN EASTHAM [NEW DETAILS]
UPDATE FROM EFD: Eastham Fire Department and Eastham Police Department responded to 155 Bridge Rd at 4:20 am for a house fire. A heroic effort was made by a neighbor and police officers to get the 2 residents out. [One of the residents was reportedly in a wheelchair] Both were taken to CCH for evaluation of smoke inhalation. Unfortunately the home is a total loss. [SEE HN VIDEO BELOW]

INITIAL HN REPORT:
EASTHAM – The call came in around 4:25 a.m. for a fully involved house on fire on Bridge Road. Initial reports are that everyone made it out of the house. At least three ambulances were initially called to the scene from as far away as Hyannis. Parts of the home were completely gutted. At 6:12 a.m., command reported that the fire was out, and that they were beginning an extensive overhaul. Crews were still on scene at the time of this report, around 6:50 a.m.
Two occupants were transported to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries. Both occupants were reportedly displaced by the fire and the Red Cross was requested to assist, according to radio transmissions.
The State Fire Marshal was requested to the scene.
