*** WATCH *** HYANNIS HIT-AND-RUN: SOME JERK STRUCK A PEDESTRIAN, TOOK OFF IN “WHITE MASERATI”
HYANNIS – [HN NOTES] – As you will see and hear in the following HN Video, the Barnstable Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run where a pedestrian was struck in front of a Main Street ice cream parlor last evening. The hit-and-run happened on Main Street, just west of the intersection with Barnstable Road.
The suspect vehicle was described as being a white Maserati SUV… and officers are looking into whether it was actually a Maserati… but it was likely a white SUV nonetheless.
The douchebag driving the white SUV took off down Main Street after reportedly striking a pedestrian and also knocking a side mirror off a parked car.
At the time of this report, the suspect vehicle had not been located…
Thankfully, the pedestrian was not hurt too bad and did not need to be transported to the hospital.
The following HN Video highlights the alarming scene that happened on Main Street as people were simply out walking, trying to enjoy the evening. (As you will also see in the following HN Video, someone unfortunately dropped their ice cream on the pavement during the chaos. That, in and of itself, is tragic!)
