*** WATCH *** ROLLOVER ON THE MID-CAPE: Several transported… one reportedly airlifted… [DEVELOPING]
SANDWICH – As you will see in the following HN Video, shortly after 11:00 p.m. last evening, police and several ambulances to Route 6 eastbound at the Chase Road overpass (Exit 63… old Exit 4) for a two-vehicle crash. A Range Rover SUV rolled over and landed on its side in the median. One person was being extricated from the wreckage when HN arrived on scene. At least three people were transported to local hospitals. At least two individuals were up walking around on scene and were not transported. One person reportedly needed to be airlifted to an off-Cape trauma center. Accident Reconstruction was not requested. The Massachusetts State Police is investigating the cause of the crash.
