*** WATCH *** VOLATILE TRAFFIC OFFENDER DISTURBS NEIGHBORS, FRIGHTENS CHILDREN… REPEATEDLY CALLS COPS “B*TCH A** N*****!”
HYANNIS – According to police, a male driver of an unregistered vehicle failed to pull over and stop for them in the area of Ridgewood Ave late last evening.
When HN arrived on scene, all three occupants, two males and one female, were detained in handcuffs.
As you will see in the following HN Video, after the investigation unfolded, police arrested the driver for Failing to Stop for a Police Officer, Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License, and Possession of a Class B Substance (that had yet to be officially tested). The driver, apparently furious, began hurling a bombardment of profanity at police officers, while refusing to take a seat inside the cruiser.
Not rattled by the proverbial “sticks and stones,” officers patiently defused the volatile situation, convincing the male to calm down a little and take a seat.
Meanwhile, the detained male and female passengers were released from temporary custody.
At times, the male driver and female passenger loudly disturbed the neighborhood by shooting off their mouths. It became so bad that a young couple came out of the neighboring home to tell officers that their children were very frightened by the outbursts of belligerent language. Officers did their best to move the investigation along in order to restore peace to the family neighborhood.
The following HN Video highlights the disruptive commotion. CAUTION – Due to the homophobic slurs, very aggressive and disrespectful language, viewer discretion is highly advised. HN NOTE: At times, the sound quality was distorted by the wind. HN did not initially plan to roll on video, only doing so when things appeared to be escalating. Therefore, the microphone did not have its “dead cat” wind protector at the time of the following footage.
