HYANNIS, Massachusetts – Officers rushed to an address on Walton Ave at around 6:00 a.m. this morning for a report of woman armed with knife attacking her roommates. Roommates managed to take the knife away, but not before a woman was stabbed in the leg. She was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. A man inside the residence was also slashed in the forearm with the knife during the attack. He refused transport to hospital. Roommates and sources on scene say the female suspect is in the process of being evicted from the property. She reportedly comes and goes by entering through a window at the residence. One roommate reported being awakened by the commotion and pulling the suspect off the woman who was stabbed.
As you will see in the following HN Video, the stabbing suspect appeared to be in the process of leaving when HN arrived on scene.
