*** WATCH *** YARMOUTH PD INVESTIGATING CRASH AT “FOUR CORNERS,” THREE HURT, TWO CARS HEAVILY DAMAGED…
SOUTH YARMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN VIDEO NOTES] – Three people were hurt after two vehicles collided at the intersection known as “Four Corners” (Rte. 28 & North Main Street) last evening. At around 11:30 p.m., police and firefighters were dispatched to what was initially described as being a three-vehicle crash with injuries… but it turned out to be just two vehicles involved. Both vehicles were heavily damaged, one struck a traffic light support pole.
Three ambulances responded and three of the occupants were transported to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
The entire intersection needed to be shut down and Route 28 traffic was diverted around the area while officials worked the scene. The Yarmouth PD is investigating the cause of the crash. The following HN Video highlights a very busy scene… HN NOTE: There were a number of other crashes in the Mid-Cape last evening, but the following crash was probably the worst in terms of injuries and damage…

Above HN photo: A man was banged up during a fight on Main Street in Hyannis late last evening. Hyannis FD responded to treat the man’s injuries. Barnstable police remained on scene for a period of time to keep the peace.
Above HN photos: While listening to Coltrane, a friend stopped by on a regular visit and began sipping air conditioner condensation runoff before being told not to… out near the airport in Hyannis, early this morning, during the wee hours when the rest of the downtown nuthouse was finally quiet and sound asleep.
