WEST BARNSTABLE – This past Sunday afternoon, 9/11/16, firefighters and Barnstable Police responded to the intersection of the Service Road and Old Stage Road after a Toyota Camry left the roadway, crashed through guard posts, and landed down an embankment in a wooded area.

The driver was hurt and taken to CCH. No further details were available on the driver’s condition at the time of this report.

A section of the Service Road was shut down for a period of time while first responders and tow truck personnel worked the scene.

Barnstable Police are investigating…
