Woman found deceased in West Barnstable Crash… [VIDEO]

UPDATE: The crash victim has been identified as Michelle Perley, age 36, of West Barnstable. HN asks its readers to please keep Michelle, her family, and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this sudden tragic and difficult time.

WEST BARNSTABLE – [Developing] Late last evening, police responded to a single car crash on Parker Road, near the intersection of Church Street, after a motorist discovered an unresponsive female in the front seat.

West Barnstable Fire & Rescue arrived on scene but quickly canceled Medflight, referring to the woman’s condition as a “police matter.”

Sources at the scene confirmed the driver and only passenger, a young female, was deceased and still inside the vehicle awaiting the arrival of the medical examiner’s office.

A Barnstable Police accident reconstruction expert arrived to investigate. A member of the Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit also responded to take photos…

The fatal crash is being investigated by the Barnstable Police Department.

NOTE: HN spoke to neighbors and they did not hear the crash. The crash was discovered by a passing motorist on his way home. Parker Road is a back street and the speed limit is 30 MPH. It’s uncertain how long the female had been there before the crash was discovered… She was a young woman, estimated to be in her late 20s, or possibly 30s… Police were busy trying to piece things together when the following video was shot.
