OSTERVILLE CRASH: Woman taken to CCH after Jeep strikes utility pole and rolls over into ditch… [HN VIDEO]
OSTERVILLE – As you will see in the following HN Video, at about 5:00 p.m., a Jeep traveling east in the area of 516 Main Street left the roadway, snapped a utility pole completely through at its base, before crashing through a fence and rolling over into a ditch.
According to sources on scene, COMM Firefighters placed the female driver on a stretcher and then transported her in “priority two” condition to Cape Cod hospital.
Barnstable Police needed to completely shut down Main Street because of low hanging primary power lines. Main Street is expected to be shut down this evening between Evans Street and Robbins Street as utility crews replace the pole.
The Barnstable Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash…
