HN PHOTOS: Juvenile arrested during alleged Breaking & Entering in progress…
SOUTH YARMOUTH – According to state police radio transmissions the call came as a “B&E in progress” at the Cape Cod Convenience store located at 50 Long Pond Drive, shortly after 11:00 p.m. last evening. At least one state trooper responded to assist Yarmouth patrol officers.
According to police, a juvenile was arrested at the scene.
As you will see in the following HN Photos, a store window was smashed during the alleged crime. A bicycle was also collected on scene as evidence. Because this alleged crime involves a juvenile, additional details were unavailable at the time of this report.
HN Note: The crime scene was in relatively close proximity to a local residential program/ “adolescent treatment center” that has had it’s share of similar disturbing issues in recent years. There were very strong indications that last evening’s crime involved a teen from a particular nearby residential program… but because this crime allegedly involves a juvenile delinquent, police officials were reluctant to officially confirm details at this time. HN will provide official updates as they become available.
