Yarmouth resident displaced after early morning wood stove fire extends into wall… [HN VIDEO]
SOUTH YARMOUTH – Firefighters were busy early this morning battling a wood stove fire that extended into a wall.
At about 1:45 a.m., crews responded to an address on Rose Road after receiving a 911 call. Firefighters tore into a wall to chase down and quickly extinguish fire that had extended from a wood stove.
Firefighters from Dennis also arrived to assist on scene…
A male resident was displaced by the fire, and the Red Cross was called in to provide assistance. The resident did not appear to be injured.
As you will see in the following HN Video, water and icy conditions made the scene slippery… and a Yarmouth Police officer called for a town sander.
