YARMOUTH – At around 11:00 p.m. Saturday evening, state troopers and firefighters responded to Route 6 eastbound (between old Exits 8 and 9A) for a Toyota Tacoma that lost control and landed on its roof. All occupants were able to self-extricate and were being evaluated by Yarmouth Rescue when HN arrived on scene. Injuries were not believed to be life-threatening. Crews made quick work of cleaning up the roadway and removing the overturned pickup. By about 11:30 p.m., the highway was opened back up. It’s unknown what caused the crash or whether the steady rain was a factor. The Massachusetts State Police is investigating.
