MASHPEE — DEVELOPING — At about 8:30PM, Mashpee Police and rescue rushed to the intersection of Orchard Road and Quinaquisett Ave for a boy struck by a vehicle…
Police immediately started CPR and had rescue step it up….
The young male pedestrian, initially described as being approximately 20-years-old over radio chatter (actually 13-years-old) was rushed to CCH with life-threatening injuries. He was said to be not breathing and unresponsive… in cardiac arrest.
A medical airlift was initially considered, but eventually cancelled…
According to a source, the boy appeared to be crossing the street… but that has not been officially confirmed.
