YPD PAC UNIT CAPTURES MAN WANTED FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER

On Monday, February 12, 2018, members of the Yarmouth Police Department Proactive Anti-Crime Unit captured a man wanted for Attempted Murder and other violent crimes in Falmouth.

The arrest came at approximately 1:45PM as the PAC Officers surrounded a home at 174 Setucket Road looking for Michael S. O’ Connor.

The suspect initially attempted to escape by going out a back but went back inside when he saw a Police Officer.

Officers made a forced entry in to the home and found the suspect hiding in the basement.

The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters and subsequently transported to the Barnstable District Court.
