The male driver of the Harley was seriously injured, yet remarkably still conscious... he was obviously in a lot of pain as Barnstable rescue workers moved him onto a backboard and then up onto a stretcher....
… the ambulance remained on scene stabilizing the patient as traffic was completely shut down in both directions...
… the driver of the Harley was reportedly MedFlighted to a Boston area hospital.
Hyannis News spoke with an eyewitness who said he actually saw the bike being dragged by the Honda CRV. Police were still unaware he had witnessed part of the crash and Officer Dave Foley was alerted by Hyannis News... where the information was eventually passed on to primary investigating Barnstable Patrol Officer Kevin Donovan.
Barnstable Sheriff's Office Bureau of Criminal Investigation was also summoned to the scene to take photos...
The Honda CRV had Connecticut plates and the passengers were visibly shaken up due to airbag deployment and the seriousness of the collision...
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
