AIRPORT EMERGENCY: Smoke inside Cape Air passenger plane… [VIDEO]
HYANNIS – At about 5:47PM, Hyannis FD and airport firefighters responded to an in-flight emergency reported from the Barnstable Municipal Airport tower.
While approaching the runway a Cape Air passenger plane experienced smoke in the cockpit.
According Hyannis FD Lieutenant Robert Hennessy, the plane was already on the ground upon their arrival. The smoke is believed to have been caused by what was described as a “hot panel” and was likely electrical in nature.
There were at least two souls on board during the emergency.
The aircraft was able to taxi to in front of the Cape Air hanger where firefighters investigated and found that the smoke condition had dissipated.

Struck with Pistol, Gunshots Fired (Falmouth)
On Wednesday evening police were called to Percival Road where a victim had been struck with a pistol and gunshots were fired.
On Wednesday at about 9:08 pm, the Falmouth Police were called to a residence on Percival Road and were told by a victim that he had been struck on the head with a pistol and a suspect shot towards him. The three suspects, Vincent Carrol (age 19), Ryan Lucas (age 18), and Cordell DeCoster (age 18) of Falmouth then fled the area. The victim suffered only minor injuries from being struck with the pistol. No one was injured by the gun fire.
During the investigation police determined that the incident had occurred around 4:50 pm and a search of the property revealed a bullet had struck the house and a vehicle in the driveway.
Arrest warrants were issued for all three suspects for Assault to Murder, Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (firearm), Possession/Carrying a Firearm without a License, and Discharging a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Dwelling. Vincent Carroll turned himself into police early this morning, however Ryan Lucas and Cordell DeCoster are still being sought by police and are considered armed and dangerous.
