ALARMING VIDEO: “Very disorderly… and OUI…”
HYANNIS – Responding officers were concerned when one of their fellow patrol officers suddenly requested backup this morning.
At about 1:41am, multiple Barnstable squad cars converged on the scene of a traffic stop behind a building located on Cedar Street.
HN arrived minutes later…
A woman was extremely irate and screaming while in custody in the backseat of one of the cruisers, while officers were speaking with her male friend…
According to Barnstable Police Sergeant Jason Labor, Mickalena Falotico, age 40, of 75 Cedar Street in Hyannis, was charged with Disorderly Conduct, OUI, Negligent Operation, Speeding, and failure to operate within Marked Lanes.
Patrolman Chris Botsford was the arresting officer.
The following video highlights the traffic stop shortly after the female driver was taken into custody. It documents extreme behavior which could be described as alarming to those within earshot. The video also illustrates the challenges involved in being a police officer.

HN NOTE: The male friend shown in the above video reportedly drove to Barnstable Police Headquarters to bail Falotico out of jail. Police reportedly observed he was inebriated and in no condition to bail out his friend. Police were uncertain of the substance and when he had ingested it. He wasn't behind the wheel when they encountered him, but they were not going to let him drive his vehicle back home. The male was reportedly walking home at the time of this report and his vehicle was impounded for the time being.
