At about 2pm this afternoon, Dennis Police responded to the Radio Shack at Patriot Square on Route 134 for an armed robbery…
A Sheriff’s K-9 unit helped search for a “skinny white male with an olive complexion, clean shaven, approximately 5’6 to 5’8” tall…. [see below for additional details…]
State police also moved into the area to assist…
Some shoppers at Patriot Square were alarmed this type of crime would happen at the Radio Shack in their town…

UPDATE: The following is the actually Dennis PD press statement:
On April 1, 2015 at approximately 1355 hours the Radio Shack at Patriot Square was robbed by a male subject who showed a gun. The clerk provided the following description:
– White male, clean shaven, skinny, 5’6” to 5”8”
– No scars or tattoos visible, wide nose
– Wearing a black beanie, black zip up jacket or sweatshirt, gray shirt underneath, dark sweat pants.
– Right handed
– black small hand gun
Several witness interviewed observed the suspect running in a north/west direction through the parking lot. This investigation is still [ongoing.]
