ARREST MADE: HN footage documents woman being stabbed multiple times…
HYANNIS – An arrest has been made in a stabbing caught on tape. A HN camera was rolling when a woman was repeatedly stabbed during a fight early Sunday morning shortly after the Main Street bars let out.
The fight happened so quick, HN didn’t initially realize it was a stabbing in progress…
… until the injured female victim showed up at the Cape Cod Hospital Emergency Room with numerous stab wounds…
The stabbing occurred behind the new Blue Moon Restaurant on Main Street, in the rear parking lot on the North Street side. (NOTE: It’s uncertain whether the combatants were actual patrons of the Blue Moon Restaurant)
According to sources, the victim knew her attacker… and her injuries turned out to NOT be life-threatening.
HN notified police of the stabbing caught on camera shortly after they began to investigate the stabbing victim showing up at CCH. Police were able to look at the footage and see the crime as it happened. They were also able to get the license plate of the vehicle the suspect left in. After slowing and enhancing the footage, HN was able to isolate the actual weapon which wasn’t easily seen at regular speed…

Theresa Henry, age 26, was questioned by police early this morning and arrested for Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.

Take another look at the footage as the fight escalates… The following footage shows the moments leading up to the stabbing as the two women were fighting. It then escalates to what appears to be punches -that’s when the HN camera lights turn on – but the “punches” actually turned out to be stabs with a 3 to 4 inch dagger-like object.
CAUTION: The following footage may be disturbing to some viewers. Viewer discretion is highly advised…. the footage starts off dark and from a distance… – but wait for it – it then shows up close shots under HN lighting.
