*** WATCH *** Unexplained early morning fire next to VNA outdoor break area… [HN VIDEO]
BARNSTABLE – At about 2:20 a.m., police and firefighters responded to the Visiting Nurse Association of Cape Cod at 255 Independence Drive in the village of Barnstable for an unexplained fire right next to an outdoor picnic and break area for nurses and VNA staff.
Firefighters knocked down the flames which consumed an area of brush and destroyed several sections of break area fencing.
At the time of this report, there was no obvious cause to this fire and police were looking into whether anyone had been out in the general vicinity. The Barnstable Fire Department is also investigating…
