HYANNIS – A man was arrested on West Main Street early this morning, accused of two felonies, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Injury to Real and Personal Property…
… and a HN camera was there to capture the entire scene.
As you will hear in the following HN Video, at about 12:15 a.m. this morning, a woman called Barnstable Police reporting that a male acquaintance had just pulled a knife on her and broke her cell phone.
The crime allegedly occurred near the intersection of West Main Street and Route 28 when the alleged victim and suspect, along with two other individuals, were all sitting inside the same vehicle together. For alleged reasons still not yet disclosed, the male suspect is accused of pulling a knife on the alleged victim. The male then somehow allegedly broke the woman’s cell phone before being “kicked out” of the vehicle at a driveway to the rear of Lambert’s Rainbow Fruit market on West Main Street. The suspect is also accused of then throwing a knife at the woman’s car as she drove away.
HN is currently seeking official details and will update this report as soon as they become available.
