CENTERVILLE – Crews needed to shut down power to a damaged utility pole in order to remove the embedded vehicle.
Police and firefighters responded to the intersection Lumbert Mill and Nye Road late last evening after receiving a report of a single vehicle crash into a utility pole.
There were no reported injuries after the driver was evaluated inside an ambulance by COMM Fire Department EMTs.
An Eversource crew was called in to briefly cut power and evaluate the damage.
