Top photo: Someone tapped on the Main Street BPD Substation, alerting a patrolman about individual who appeared under the influence of drugs bothering others hanging out in a parking lot across the street. Officers decided to take the young man into custody for his own protection.

HYANNIS – It was a rather uneventful Hytown overnight, relatively speaking…

Above photo: A passerby became concerned about the wellbeing of this young lady found grouched down in a doorway near the intersection of Main Street and Winter Street early this morning. An officer checks her level of intoxication and was able to give her a courtesy transport to a nearby residence.

Above photo: (This isn’t the hokey-pokey…) This older gentleman was too intoxicated to walk, let alone drive home. Witnesses became concerned about him after he was allegedly observed urinating in the Main Street area. Officers were kind enough to give him a courtesy transport home. (Photo taken Tuesday evening…)

Above photo: A plainclothes police officer stopped to check on two suspicious men out strolling in the area of the Airport Rotary early this morning. One individual had a violent criminal history… but after a warrant check came back negative, both individuals were free to continue on their merry way.

Above photo: Police go to investigate reports of a noisy party on South Street and are greeted by a rather congenial college-age gentleman sporting an empty Bud Light box on his head. Revelers were advised to keep it down…

Like I said, it was a rather uneventful overnight in Hytown last evening…
