MAJOR HEAD-ON CRASH IN COTUIT: One driver entrapped with head injuries… firefighters work to save a life… [HN VIDEO] [DEVELOPING]
COTUIT – As you will see in the following HN Video, firefighters had to cut apart a sedan that collided head-on with a fullsize pickup truck on Route 28 last evening at about 11:00PM.
The female driver was suffering head injuries and was entrapped for a period of time as firefighters used saws and the jaws of life to eventually free her from the mangled wreckage.
It’s uncertain how many patients there were at the time of this report… or whether the driver of the pickup was also seriously injured.
It’s uncertain what caused the crash, but there was a dense fog condition in the area…
