BREWSTER – Police and firefighters responded to a rollover crash into a utility pole on Stony Brook Road shortly after 11:30 p.m. last evening. The 26-year-old male driver was able to self-extricate from the wreckage. And he was in police custody and reportedly under arrest when HN arrived on scene. He was then transported to Cape Cod Hospital for evaluation. Personnel on scene found it remarkable he walked away from the crash with what appeared to be relatively minor injuries, thanks to modern car safety technology. According to police, the driver is being charged with Operating Under the Influence.
* All suspects are presumed to be innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
