CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Woman stabbed multiple times in parking lot behind bar…
Top photo and insert: Shows victim as she’s being stabbed multiple times…
HYANNIS – A HN camera was rolling right as a woman was being stabbed multiple times. It happened so quick, HN didn’t realize it was a stabbing in progress…
… until the injured female victim showed up at the Cape Cod Hospital Emergency Room with numerous stab wounds…
The stabbing occurred behind the new Blue Moon Restaurant on Main Street, in the rear parking lot on the North Street side.
The following footage shows the moments leading up to the stabbing as the two women were fighting. It then escalates to what appears to be punches, but were actually stabs with a 3 to 4 inch dagger-like object.

CAUTION: The following footage may be disturbing to some viewers. Viewer discretion is highly advised…. the footage starts off dark and from a distance… – but wait for it – it then shows up close shots under HN lighting.

NEXT VIDEO: Shows the bar scene at the Blue Moon Restaurant and Main Street area prior to the stabbing… things were going good!
The stabbing victim’s condition is currently unknown. Barnstable Police are actively investigation and HN will provide updates as they become available…
HN NOTE: Main Street is for the people of the Hyannis, along with the visitors of Hyannis. It is a place where people young and old should always feel safe and uninhibited 24/7… with no exceptions!
Just as the Barnstable Police are doing their best to accomplish this goal, HN is documenting the downtown area for the safety and benefit of the town’s people, visitors, along with police. (Yes, I feel obligated to support our local law enforcement)
Also note, since Main Street is a place which belongs to the public, there is no expectation of privacy. It’s the people’s place… Which basically means everyone is expected to be on their best behavior. Also note, HN just may be filming… but along with HN, the Town of Barnstable is filming… stores and businesses are filming… basically everyone is free to use a camera and document the Main Street area.
Documenting public places on camera is protected under the First Amendment and it is your Constitutional Right.
And, as you have seen in the above videos, cameras are an important tool for helping the authorities solve violent crimes. They are also an important tool to illustrate people having fun and showing what we as a community are doing right.
As an aside, HN thoroughly enjoys filming people out having a great time on Main Street in HyTown. It’s where I grew up and it’s a very special place. If you see me out and about, please feel free to say hello, and pose for a HN shot if you’re so inclined! 🙂
HN, the BPD, and the many others who care about our beloved town will do whatever we can to make everyone feel safe and welcomed in the Main Street area.
Always enjoy your freedoms, and have a safe and splendiferous 4th of July!

Irish Ways and Irish Laws
Once upon a time there were
Irish Ways and Irish Laws
Villages of Irish blood
Waking to the morning
Waking to the morning
Then the Vikings came around
Turned us up and turned us down
Started building boats and towns
They tried to change our living
tried to change our living
Cromwell and his soldiers came
Started centuries of shame
But they could not make us turn
We are a river flowing
We’re a river flowing
Again, again the soldiers came
Burnt our houses stole our grain
Shot the farmers in their fields
Working for a living
800 years we have been down
The secret of the water sound
Has kept the spirit of a man
Above the pain descending
Above the pain descending
Today the struggle carries on
I wonder will I live so long
To see the gates being opened up
To a people and their freedom
A people and their freedom
Once upon a time there was
Irish Ways and Irish Laws
Villages of Irish blood
Waking to the morning
Waking to the morning
