WEST YARMOUTH – The following is the actual Massachusetts State Police Cape Cod Drug Task Force and Yarmouth Police press release:
On Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 5:12AM, as the result of a lengthy narcotics investigation, Officers from the Massachusetts State Police Cape Cod Drug Task Force and the Yarmouth Police Department executed a state search warrant at 47 Wilson Road in West Yarmouth.

The case was initiated as a result of information obtained by Brewster Police Detective Sergeant Paul Judge based on information he gained during a prior investigation, as well as citizen complaints to the Yarmouth Police Department regarding suspicious activity at 47 Wilson Road.
Peaceful entry was gained to the residence and Christian William VAUTRINOT (age 21) and his girlfriend Lisa D. CONKLIN (age 23) were located together in a bedroom at their residence where they were secured without incident.
During a subsequent search of the bedroom, Yarmouth Police Detective Chris Van Ness located a package containing over 18 grams of heroin in the bedroom closet, as well as a smaller amount of heroin on the bedroom dresser.
A box of plastic sandwich baggies, a large number of plastic sandwich bags with the corners removed (common repackaging materials), and a working digital scale (often used to weigh illegal narcotics for repackaging and redistribution), were also located in the bedroom.
VAUTRINOT and CONKLIN were arrested, transported to the Yarmouth Police Department, booked, and will be arraigned in the Barnstable District Court today.
They are both charged with:
Felony Trafficking in Heroin (18-36 grams)
Felony Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A Heroin
Felony Conspiracy to Violate the Massachusetts Controlled Substance Act.
The total street value of the heroin recovered once repackaged is approximately $4000.00.
This media release was prepared and distributed by Massachusetts State Police Lieutenant Jack Mawn and Yarmouth Police Department Deputy Chief of Police Steven G. Xiarhos on October 22, 2014.
