HN PHOTO: Squid fishing boats off Craigville at 3:00 a.m.

CENTERVILLE – The above HN Image was taken from the Craigville Beach area at about 3:00 a.m. this morning. The image shows a number of fishing vessels way out on the horizon, using their bright lights to attract squid. There was also an equal number of squid fishing boats out of frame to the east, off of Hyannisport. Most of the boats were launched earlier last evening from the Cape Cod Hospital boat ramp on Lewis Bay Road in Hyannis.
