COPS: Homeless couple arrested for stealing woman’s car from transportation center… [VIDEO]
HYANNIS – Police say it was a homeless couple that was involved in the theft of a motor vehicle from a woman who had stopped next to the transportation center this past Wednesday.

The arrest:
HN was on Main Street this past Thursday afternoon when Barnstable Patrolman Dennis Stampfl recognized a man strolling down the sidewalk. Based on images obtained from transportation center surveillance cameras, Stampfl believed he had the suspect from the previous day’s car theft. Stampfl also happened to be the lead investigating officer in that particular caper…
Osmar Francisco, Jr., age 24, homeless in the Hyannis area, was arrested and charged with Larceny of a Motor Vehicle. Francisco was also charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, after police found him in possession of brass knuckles, which are a felony just to have on one’s person…
Also arrested this past Thursday, was Francisco’s girlfriend and alleged passenger inside the stolen motor vehicle. Danielle Summers, age 32, also homeless in the Hyannis area, was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property (The stolen motor vehicle…).
A HN camera was rolling during the arraignment. Francisco was held on $500 cash bail. Summers, no stranger to the courts, was held on $3000 cash bail.

A man charged with Unarmed Robbery and Assault & Battery was hoping to receive low bail so he could walk out of court this past Friday. His attorney was asking for $500, the Commonwealth would have settled on $3000… the Judge felt $5000 was more like it.
Jeff Randall, age 30, has several court matters that are still unsettled. Randall also has a lengthy arrest record for offenses in the Hyannis area.
Early Friday morning, Randall was arrested and charged with Unarmed Robbery and Assault & Battery.
HN was in court Friday and the following video captures Randall’s reaction in front of the court. At one point the video contains strong language, so viewer discretion is advised.
