The following is the actual BPD press statement:
Barnstable Police arrested a Hyannis man after a road rage incident involving a knife and a hammer.
At 12:55pm on June 1st, a caller notified the police of an altercation involving 31-year-old Bryan Parks of Hyannis and a 30-year-old man from Mashpee.
Parks was crossing South St. in a designated crosswalk when a pick-up truck driven by the Mashpee man approached him.
