DENNIS DOUBLE STABBING: 30-year-old male died… 35-year-old female airlifted and being treated…
The following is the actual press statement from the DA’s office:
District Attorney Michael O’Keefe and Dennis Police Chief Peter DiMatteo announced today that at approximately 7:30pm last evening Dennis Police responded to a 911 call to 11 O’Connor Drive South Dennis. Police arrived within a minute of the call. They heard a female victim approximately 35 years of age calling for help. She had suffered stab wounds and was assisted by paramedics, transferred to CCH and then was med – flighted to Boston where she is being treated.
Police also found one Mark Thomasson D.O.B 2/10/86 in another room. He also suffered from stab wounds. As he was being prepared for transport to CCH he expired.
The preliminary investigation would suggest that the female victim was stabbed by the deceased who then stabbed himself.
The matter remains under investigation by State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office and the Dennis Police.
