Woman hurt in single car rollover in Dennis… [HN VIDEO]
DENNIS – The first officials on scene reported there was one person still trapped inside the rolled over vehicle. Then moments later, police announced Firefighters had the patient out of the car.
As you will see in the following HN Video, at about 12:25 a.m. this morning, police and firefighters responded to Route 6A in the area of Scargo Hill Road for a report of a single vehicle rollover crash, with a SUV landing on its roof.
Sources say the patient was able to speak with first responders while she was being loaded into a Dennis Fire Department ambulance. There were reportedly no initial signs of impairment and no signs of skid marks leading up to the wreckage, indications the driver may have possibly fallen asleep… but that has not yet been officially confirmed and the cause of the crash was still under investigation at the time of this report.
The female operator was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening and the Dennis Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
