EAST SANDWICH: Driver to be charged with Negligent Operation after single car rollover sends both passengers to CCH…
EAST SANDWICH – Two passengers were reportedly entrapped after an SUV rolled over onto it’s roof earlier this evening. Both were able to self-extricate as first responders arrived on scene.
At about 8:15 p.m., Sandwich Police and Firefighters responded to Route 6A in the vicinity of Jones Road for the report of a single vehicle crash with injuries.
Both passengers were very fortunate not to have suffered life-threatening injuries, according to an unofficial source on scene. As you will see in the following HN Video, both were transported to Cape Cod Hospital in separate Sandwich FD ambulances.
The Sandwich Police Department is investigating the crash, and according to radio transmissions the driver will be charged with Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle. [DEVELOPING]
