EYEWITNESS: “Mom” was pushed and split head open on bricks after getting in middle of men fighting over drugs… [VIDEO]
HYANNIS — According to an eyewitness, a group of about six men in their 20s were fighting over drugs when a homeless elder called “Mom” stepped in to break things up.
Mom was pushed to the ground, splitting her head open on the brick walkway, the witness continued. The group then took off, leaving a woman, approximately 55 to 65-years-old facedown in a puddle of her own blood.
The witness, the man in the following video, with his dog named Cole, told HN he stepped in and helped the woman, lifting her onto a park bench and applying pressure to her head to stop the bleeding.
Hyannis Rescue arrived shortly thereafter and took over applying pressure to the head wound. The woman was then placed onto a stretcher and taken to CCH.

Elderly woman struck by car… dusts self off and refuses rescue…

YARMOUTH PORT — A pedestrian was struck and “thrown up in the air” according to initial emergency radio transmissions. The call didn’t sound good and captured the attention of multiple Yarmouth first responders.
At about 6:45PM last evening, police and rescue workers rushed to the parking lot of Peterson’s Market on Route 6A. First responders learned the female victim was down, but alert and breathing.
According to sources, the woman did come in contact with the hood of the vehicle, but she was not seriously injured and refused further treatment from rescue.

HN NOTES: That’s one tough lady! (The accident at Peterson’s Market probably would have killed the average person…)
As for the “men” who allegedly pushed the woman on the Hyannis town green and left her there bleeding, you need to leave town, we don’t want your kind here.
In HyTown we respect our elders
