Woman robbed of cash in the West End…
HYANNIS — A woman told police she had just been robbed of $100 cash last evening.
At about 10:00PM, Barnstable Police met the robbery victim in the parking lot of the Hyannis Package Store in the West End.
Police are looking for a light skin black male, age 30 to 40 years old, with short hair, and possibly balding. The suspect was the passenger in a 2012 black Toyota Corolla. Police have the vehicle’s registration, along with strong leads…
No weapon was shown.
A B.O.L.O. was given out to surrounding towns.
The robbery remains under investigation by the BPD.

HYANNIS — Barnstable Police and a representative from the board of health investigated reports of a strong odor coming from an upstairs apartment in a house on Yarmouth Road late last evening.
The odor was so bad police initially believed it may have been a decomposing body…
It turned out to be a serious case of hoarding. The apartment will need professional cleaning and sanitization. The young man who resides there was relocated to another apartment for the time being.
