Falmouth man charged with 3rd offense OUI, open container, and small baggie of coke…
WPD MEDIA STATEMENT: On Saturday, at 8:20 p.m. Wareham Police responded to the Mobil Gas Station at 2238 Cranberry Highway for the report of an intoxicated male operating a motor vehicle. Officers approached the male who standing at the pumps near his vehicle and began to follow-up on the report. After an investigation it was determined the male had been operating the vehicle, appeared impaired, and was placed in custody. Garry Currier, 67, of Falmouth, was placed under arrest by Officers James White and Garrett Smith, charged with operating under the influence, 3rd offense, and possession of an open container in a motor vehicle.
A second male, Kevin Ouellette, 51, of Falmouth, a passenger in the car was also placed in custody after it was determined he had an active warrant for his arrest. During the booking process at Wareham Police headquarters, Officer Matthew Donovan located a small baggie of suspected cocaine and Mr. Currier was further charged with possession of a class B substance.
