HYANNIS – [DEVELOPING] – As you’ll see and hear in the following HN Video, Barnstable Police are investigating after an alleged intoxicated driver allegedly left the scene of multiple crashes shortly before midnight last evening…
Officers were in the middle of investigating one of the crash scenes (there appeared to have been at least four), when a patrolman witnessed the damaged suspect vehicle turn the wrong way onto to Main Street.
An HN camera was rolling as the vehicle was stopped facing the wrong way in the Hyannis West End.
The driver was arrested on OUI charges after participating in several field sobriety tests.
The HN Video also shows a surprised woman returning and discovering that someone had knocked the mirror off of her parked vehicle… and they didn’t stick around, or leave a note…
