BOLO: Fleeing 27-year-old male reportedly struck Falmouth Police cruiser, allegedly almost hit police officer… [HN VIDEO]
EAST FALMOUTH – According to radio transmissions from early this morning, a Falmouth Police patrolwoman was responding to a disturbance at an address on John Parker Road when she reported being struck by a fleeing male driving a pickup truck. The fleeing pickup allegedly almost struck the patrolwoman, she also radioed dispatch saying she was not injured.
A be on the lookout (BOLO) announcement was given out to state and local police departments. Police gave out the name of an alleged 27-year-old suspect reportedly known to be in the possession of firearms, according to radio transmissions. (The suspect also possibly had two warrants, according to radio transmissions.) The suspect vehicle was described as a blue colored, late model Toyota truck, with no bed and a loud exhaust.
A short while into to the search, an officer spotted the suspect vehicle in the area of Lakewood Drive in East Falmouth. There was reportedly some kind of pursuit, but officers again lost sight of the suspect vehicle in the area of Turner Road.

HN responded to Falmouth Police Headquarters and spoke with Sergeant Ryan Hergt, who said the FPD was not going to give out any information at this time… but there will possibly information released later in the day.
